*warning it's gonna be a long journal*

I had the most awesome weekend at Anime North 2009 and it was my first time going to anime con and to AN!! I can't believe what I saw when people with cosplays walking towards Toronto Congress Centre and my hand kept holding my camera on Friday and the best thing is I get to see my fav DA artists in real life!! Special thanks to Adrian my only con buddy and *ahem* he is not my BF!! I can't believe and whisper and thought that he is...lol!! NO!! don't worry I still love you guys~~both of you are too sweet to me and all the free stuff

but I wish was there I wanna meet her so badly D:

let me recall my first day experience at AN

Fabulous Friday
Thanks to Adrian, his parents are kind enough to give me transport to AN anyway as approaching to TCC yeah I saw lots of cosplays and I can't stand wait in the car anymore! I just wanna take most the pics and I did!! I didn't cosplay anything yet cause I have no budget (no money~~) and there are too many anime characters to choose..so I just wanna go for being tomboy and Adrian the professor with a toy suitcase check out from 's journal [link] (guess who is that plain gal~~)oh man she rocks! oh when we came in, we had our pre-register pass and we manage to get in!! I stalked most of the artists' booths on Friday and keep asking for signatures for EVERY artwork that I've bought! and introduce to them that I'm OMG!! I never thought is an asian gal! that includes (kawaii girl~~) and others are like asian gals!! I didn't expect them!! I've always thought you guys are male/white guy/gal!!

I remember I stalked 's booth first and she is pretty shy I guess then I kept staring at many booths and like hey! I saw this at DA before and start asking for their DA id...sorry I couldn't remember all of them and I kept confusing who is who @__@ but I couldn't resist and bought something from each artists!

it was great and then we went for events but I forgot where I went but I didn't know events held at the same time but at different timing!! wow!! no wonder they said AN is like a huge event!! Oh we do manage to go to the opening ceremony~introducing guests here at AN unfortunately I don't even know any of them aih..

we did have lunch at Harveys~~thank God we went back home on Friday cause I have too many things to hold on to one bag with 's Rukia poster! it was pretty late and tiredzz but before we left, I manage to watch people dancing carameldansen but unfortunately it was dark I couldn't record anything+my cheap camera is blur!! I should get better one! I reached home at 11.45pm-ish~ and I bet there are more+better cosplays on Saturday!!

Stylish Saturday
okay Adrian really did cosplay this time as the high spirit guy, Meito Anizawa aka Anime Taicho from Lucky Star. He made his own costumes and it was awesome! I saw more cosplays and many want to take picture of Adrian and his poses is really funny oh me? I'm just again being a tomboy without my glasses and I bought trial-version contacts just for AN with a bandage on my nose--it looked like a broken lolita lol! I was so frustrated that I forgot to bring memory card for my camera and I couldn't take awesome pic that day!! *grumble* but at least my friend is taking pictures for me..I saw couple of photoshoot at the parking lot outside TCC building--REBORN!! they have all the characters and did poses together based on the anime battles/families/varia/etc...it was great! then as usual stalking artists and bought more stuff and went to dealer rooms and saw lots of merchandises and mangas! wow I really want to buy plushies but this year I was aiming for artists' artworks maybe next year then~~later we bought tickets for Cafe Delish (maid cafe) and they are so kawaii, and thet did a short dance performances and then begin to serve us beverages and some pastries. I had a great time there and best of all it's for good cause--the money will be donated to sick kids hospital..aww :aww..again we went to many events which I couldn't really remember a lot

I do met with Adrian's friend, Chris aka Kazu from Air Gear and we hang out! lol we watched pokemon parody and Pokemon movie:Giratina and the Sky Bouquet..I did watched Hetalia anime and knew exactly the first time what it is all about and saw the room was filled with people..I had to sit on the floor and many were cosplaying as different countries from Hetalia. I find it funny and I'm gonna watch more when I get back ^^ people were singing the hetalia song when it comes to the ending part...

I watched totally lame animes but I don't even know what animes they are(too old but funny though) stayed overnight at a room and they had all-night-animes which I watched some random series by I'm kinda hooked to K-On and Ritsu (the drummer) is my fav character! but I was too tired and I slept on couple of chairs to set as my bed. I do brought my apple pillow and blanket to sleep. I can't really sleep well cause the volume are really loud but most people sleep on the floor and some continue to watch...and there goes my day~~

Sunday the last day!
Can't believe it's gonna end..I really enjoyed a lot for that day. I woke up at 7a.m-ish and I was still tiredzz, had sandwich that I've packed since yesterday and head on to artists alley and bought some stuff cause most booths are just open. So we went back for some events and head on to Cafe Nocturne (served by butlers that girls dressed as guys) and the tea was great! there are many flavours but we only get to try one--aih..Last but not least, even though we missed the ending ceremony but Adrian and I did the last minute shopping and boy the price is so low I couldn't resist spend some for last minute stuff even mangas are like $5 each!! but in the end I ended up going to and 's table to buy more lovely keychains..I wish I can buy more but I have no money left TT__TT

I wanted to have free burgers at Harveys but by the time I go there it ran out of burgers >.< anyway it would be a long queue! D:

Adrian went to dealers room for shopping stuff..

Oh! I'm surprised people want to take my picture even though I'm not cosplaying..maybe one or two people and there is one guy actually ask who am I..and I told me that I'm just cosplaying some random guy lol

oh well I can always come back for next year!

I can't believe it ended so early I'm gonna miss everyone and mata ashita!!
